Youth Age 12 – 17 Pathways & Spirit; A Medicine Walk Circle

Youth age 12 – 17 are invited to join Nistawoyou Association Friendship Centre and Wood Buffalo Pride for a special Pride 2025 celebration rooted in culture, connection, and community.

We’ll share in a Medicine Walk guided by our Knowledge Keeper, Claire, along the scenic trails of MacDonald Island Park. We’ll begin at the trailhead and complete our walk at the Wood Buffalo Pride space in Shell Place, where Elder Richard will share traditional 2-spirit storytelling to close the evening among friends.

This event is open to all community members age 12 – 17, and we welcome you to walk with us in honour of the land, the teachings, and each other.

What to bring: Water, sunscreen, bug spray, and anything else you may need for your comfort.
Children under 8 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Come walk, listen, and learn as we celebrate Pride through the lens of culture and community.
