Métis Dot Painting Workshop
April 15 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Elders and Seniors (55+) are invited to discover Métis culture through a guided Dot Painting Workshop. Facilitator Arlene Desjarlais-Wallace will lead participants through the history, meaning, and techniques behind this beautiful art form while creating their own unique piece to take home. All supplies and instruction are provided.
Registration opens March 30th at 8:30am. Please call 780-743-8555.
*Please note that participants may register for only two classes per month, and only one beading class, to ensure more community members have the chance to join.
This program is generously funded by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.
