National Friendship Day Celebration

Join the Nistawoyou Association Friendship Centre on Friday, June 5th from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM for our National Friendship Day Celebration!

Friendship is about connection, kindness, support, and community — and we’re inviting everyone to come together to celebrate the people and relationships that make our community stronger.

Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon featuring:
• Free stew and bannock
• Friendship bracelet making
• A collaborative community art project
• Giveaways, connection, and more!

This free community event is open to everyone. Whether you come with friends, family, coworkers, or on your own, all are welcome to join us in celebrating friendship and togetherness.

National Friendship Day recognizes the importance of friendship in building stronger, more connected communities. The United Nations officially recognized the International Day of Friendship in 2011, highlighting friendship as a way to inspire peace, understanding, and unity between people and cultures around the world.
