Renee Hurley


Renee moved to Fort McMurray in 1987 with her family from Lethbridge, and she has called Fort McMurray home since that time. Renee started as Administrative Assistant with NAFC in 2022 and transitioned into the role of Elder Coordinator in 2023. She brings a wealth of administrative experience and education to the team. She holds a Bachelor of Organizational Administration as well as a diploma in Recreation Management. Prior to working for NAFC, she worked in the oil & gas industry for 10 years before shifting her focus to her three children. Renee is also a passionate volunteer – she has been involved with school council as well as fundraising societies for over 10 years. Outside of NAFC, Renee is married with three kids who keep her very busy with their competitive activities.
